Porting Status Widget Guide
The Porting Status widget give reseller admins a view of all the ports submitted on behalf of their customers. the via the navigational links to the left of the Reseller Dashboard.
The main porting window displays all ports in the order which they were submitted. Resellers can use the Filter By options (1) to only show ports which match the selected criteria.
Resellers can also search for specific ports by entering the main billing number (MBN) or customer name into the search box (2).
Each port is listed on its own row in the table. At a glance, resellers can see basic information about the port. The MBN is shown on the first column (including the type of port), followed by the current provider information (3). The Range Holder (RH) is the communications provider (CP) who holds the OFCOM allocation for the number range. This normally does not change when the port is completed. The Losing Communications Provider (LCP) is the provider currently supplying service on the number to be ported.
Relevant dates for the port are displayed under the date column (4). This will include the requested port date and the actual porting date. The porting date may differ from the requested date for several reasons. Further information can be found in the porting section of the customer creation wizard later in this document.
For each port, there are several actions that the reseller can take, these are accessed via the Action menu (5) to the right of the table.
Detailed information about a port can be access via the “hamburger” icon (6). If a port has additional numbers associated, i.e. it is part of a range of numbers, these can be displayed by clicking the “eye” icon (7). To download a CLoA for the port, click the “download” icon (8) and specify the format required. To upload a completed CLoA, click the “upload” (9) and specify the file.
Messages from the porting team are also shown when the “hamburger” icon (6) is pressed. This interface also allows resellers to communicate directly with the porting team regarding ports. (Please note this is the only way to communicate and replying to email updates will not work)
