Checking that handsets are assigned to accounts on SHPBX
Accessing the hardware tool
To ensure that all your accounts have a handset assigned to them click the Hardware link
Checking if Hardware is assigned
This will load the widget as below
From here you can then select each customer you need to check
Once a customer is selected you can tell if the hardware is assigned as the model and hardware name fields will be populated you will see in the below examples the first two accounts have select a device in the hardware name field which means a device is not assigned.
The bottom row shows T42 and a MAC code which means it does not have hardware assigned.
Assigning hardware to devices
This can be completed by selecting a model type, which will populate with any MAC addresses on the drop down menu with any devices assigned to your account that is of that particular model.
Please note that when assigning hardware this should be allocated as Port 1.
