Batteries for Panasonic DECT Handsets

For selection of spare batteries for TCAx85 handsets, please follow the guidelines below.

1. KX-TCA185
Spare batteries for TCA185 are no longer supplied as service parts due to lifetime issues with this battery type.
The equivalent batteries are generally available from consumer market:
Recommended battery : Panasonic HHR-4MVE (rechargeable AAA 750mAh)

NOTE: TCA185 can work with AAA rechargeable battery by other manufacturer but please never use batteries smaller than 700mAh as it can cause overcharging risk of failure.
Also note that even if higher capacity batteries (than 750mAh) are installed, the duration time of talk/standby will still be the same as original batteries. Panasonic 700mAh 1.2V each – times 3 = 3.6V

2. KX-TCA285 and KX-TCA385
Use specified spare battery available through Service Parts department:
