Set / Reset Admin Password TCA185 TCA285

Problem

I have a Panasonic KX-TCA285 that I am trying to Factory Reset by

· Setting Handset

· Other Option

· Reset Handset

When I press OK the screen states –“Password Not Stored”

Solution

It is because the handset has never had a password set.

If you go to

- Setting Handset

-Other Option

- Change Password

Then enter a password twice, you can then go back to

-Reset Handset

And it will then ask you to enter the password that you have created.
